Going to summer camp? Well, if nothing else, you better learn Good Riddance quick.

What the heck is a Cadd9? Well, it’s just a C chord with the D note added. The best way to play this campfire classic is to play an open G chord with your 1st finger on the 2nd fret of the A (2nd string), your 2nd finger on the 3rd fret of the low E (6th) string, and then your third finger on the 3rd fret of the B (2nd) string with your pinky right behind it on the 3rd fret of the high E (1st) string. Then, when it comes time to transition to the Cadd9 chord, just leave your third finger and pinky where they are and adjust your first and second fingers so each one moves up one string. You are now playing a Cadd9. Neato!

You’ll want to pick around the chords at the appropriate parts. We are assuming you have already heard this song 14 million times and understand this.
